Schizophrenia is a complex and severe mental disorder often accompanied by various psychotic symptoms, including hallucinations. Psychoreligious therapy is an intriguing approach in addressing schizophrenia symptoms, including hallucinations. One form of psychoreligious therapy that can be implemented is Dhikr therapy. This research investigates the impact of Dhikr therapy as an adjunct to nursing care interventions to assess changes in hallucination signs and symptoms. The study employs a case study method on a hallucinating patient using a multidimensional approach through clinical observation, interviews, and physical examinations. The results indicate that after receiving Dhikr therapy for six days, the signs and symptoms of hallucinations in the patient decreased, as evidenced by reduced frequency of visual hallucinations, the ability to differentiate real from unreal hallucinations, a calmer demeanor, and improved abilities in terms of vocally opposing hallucinations, taking medication, engaging in conversations, and performing daily activities. Dhikr therapy suggests the potential of psychoreligious interventions as a complementary approach to conventional treatment for schizophrenic patients with hallucinations.
