<p>Jurnal Kesehatan LLDIKTI Wilayah I (JUKES) is published by LLDIKTI WILAYAH 1 SUMUT. Jurnal Kesehatan LLDIKTI Wilayah I (JUKES) is a six-monthly periodical publication, each issue contains a minimum of 5 articles. Articles submitted will be published every <strong>April</strong> and <strong>October</strong>. The mission of the Jurnal Kesehatan LLDIKTI Wilayah I (JUKES) is to disseminate various health information and discuss it through scientific written communication about health in Indonesia and even the world, both clinical health and social health. <p>Caring is the essence of nursing as a fundamental of nurse’s career and the heart of nursing practice that it must be implemented by every nurse as a culture. The study objective is to identify the effect of caring training on nurse’s caring behavior in Medical-Surgical Unit at Private Hospital in Medan. The research method is Pre-Experimental design in one group pretest-posttest without control and 38 patients as respondents with random sampling technique. The result showed that pretest scoring before caring training on 20 patients (52.6%) as bad category and followed by 47.4% (18 patients) as quite good category. While the posttest scoring after caring training was increased significantly on 27 patients (71.1%) as good score and 11 patients (28.9%) as quite good score and a meaningful effect with p-value 0.000 (? <0.05). The study can be concluded, that there was a significant effect of caring training on nurse's caring behavior. The better nurse’s caring behavior in providing nursing care, the higher the level of patient satisfaction. It is expected that further researchers will add other variables such as motivation, workload, level of satisfaction, nurse work stress and implement emotional intelligence interventions or look for factors related to nurse’s caring</p>Rustianna TumanggorDior Manta TambunanMartha Sutriska Sagala

<p>Patient Safety is an absence of preventable harm and reduction of risk unnecessary harm. Patient’s misidentifaction can be avoided through patient safety trainig. The study objective is to identify the effect of patient safety training on patient identification compliance in the Radiology Unit at a Private Hospital in Medan. The research method is Pre-Experimental design in one group pretest-posttest without control and 28 staffs as respondents with total sampling technique. The result showed that pretest Patient Identification Compliance on September was 67.9%, on October and November 2023 was decreased (64.3%) in the Radiology Unit. The Posttest Patient Identification Compliance after training on March 2024 (78.6%), April 2024 (85.7%), and May 2024 (92.9%) in the Radiology Unit. Patient Safety Incidents Based on Not Compliance of Patient Identification before Training on September – November 2023 were 10 findings and after Training on March – May 2024 were significantly reduced to 4 findings. The Wilcoxon test showed p-value 0.011 (? <0.05). The conclussion is that there was a meaningful effect of Patient Safety Training on Patient Identification Compliance. <p>Hypertension is a degenerative disease that cannot be cured but can be prevented from recurring by taking hypertension medication and implementing a healthy lifestyle. This lifelong care process requires family support, especially in improving blood pressure. This study aims to identify the relationship between family support and medication adherence in hypertension patients at the Harapan Hospital Polyclinic, Pematang Siantar. This correlation study uses a cross-sectional approach. The study population was hypertension patients who were treated at the Harapan Hospital Internal Medicine Polyclinic with a purposive sampling technique of 51 respondents. Family support was found with an average score of 32.61, with a standard deviation of 6.226. Meanwhile, medication adherence obtained an average score of 4.53 with a standard deviation of 2.572. Based on the Pearson Product Moment test, a p-value of 0.001 (<? = 0.05) was found with an r value of 0.715, indicating that there is a relationship between family support and medication adherence in hypertension patients with a strong positive relationship. It is expected that hypertension sufferers will diligently control their blood pressure and remain compliant in taking hypertension medication to maintain blood pressure stability so that unwanted things such as complications do not occur.</p>Erpina SiallaganLindawati F. <p>Management of pharmaceutical preparations through pharmaceutical services at community health centers includes several activities, namely planning, procurement, receiving, storage, distribution and control. The aim of this research is to find out the mechanism for managing pharmaceutical preparations at the Batunadua Community Health Center. This research uses an observational descriptive method. The population and sample in this study is all drug management data which includes planning, procurement, receipt, storage, distribution and control of the Batunadua Community Health Center in 2023. The place and time of the research was at the Batunadua Community Health Center, Padangsidimpuan City in May-June 2024. The instruments used were observation checklist sheet and interview sheet. The results obtained from this research are the planning stage with 100% results, procurement with 100% results, receipt with 100% results, storage with 80% results, distribution with 100% results and control with 100% results. <p>A pharmacy is a pharmaceutical service facility where pharmaceutical practice is carried out by pharmacists, while pharmaceutical service is a direct and responsible service to patients related to pharmaceutical preparations. Providing pharmaceutical services is not just about providing medicines, but also ensuring that patients receive safe, effective and affordable treatment. The level of patient satisfaction is the patient's or service user's response to each health service provided. The aim of this research is to determine the level of patient satisfaction with pharmaceutical services at the Nina pharmacy in Padangsidmpuan City in 2024. This type of research is descriptive research using a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire whose validation and reliability have first been tested using 5 dimensions of satisfaction, namely responsiveness. ), reliability, assurance, empathy and direct evidence. The results of research at the Nina pharmacy in Padangsidimpuan City showed that the results were responsiveness (45.27%), reliability (44.44%), assurance (38.33%), empathy (44.44%), tangible (61.05%) . <p><strong>Introduction</strong>: Cardiac arrest is a common event that often cannot be predicted and has the potential to lead to rapid death. This condition occurs when the heart's function suddenly stops, caused by the cessation of the heart's electrical activity and accompanied by the cessation of breathing. Thus, the importance of increasing public knowledge in providing prehospital first aid, especially in recognizing the signs of cardiac arrest in adults and having the skills to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation, has become an urgent matter. <strong>Method</strong>: this type of research is quantitative with a pre-experimental design using the one group pre-test-post-test method. The sampling technique used is Simple Random Sampling with a total of 30 respondents. Analyze the data using the Wilcoxon signed-rank test. <strong>Results</strong>: The findings of this study indicate a significant influence of education on the knowledge level of the PKK woment in Laut Dendang Village regarding cardiac arrest, with a p-value of 0.000 < 0.05. <strong>Conclusion</strong>: There is an influence of education on the knowledge level of PKK woment about cardiac arrest in Laut Dendang Village.
